Picture Book; In Memory of
I am publishing a picture book with images of over forty Roadside Memorials placed between Campbell River and Victoria. The main purpose is to assist in keeping the memory alive of those lost suddenly on our roads, and in the process promote Roadsafe Behaviour.
The response has been over whelming with people being pleased in the manor in which this book is remembering someone suddenly lost from a road accident, and the effort it makes in there honor to prevent the need for Roadside Memorials.
I am also getting positive support from Governments, Law enforcement, Road Trauma Respondents, Roadsafe programs and organizations such as RRID.
The project is nearing complition and all efforts are being made to inform anyone involved with the images in this book so they can include or disclude any information.
The only information that is in the book about the people being remembered are name and dates, I have used media and made countless sensitive phone call to try and inform everyone.
This has been a slow and difficult process and still have some memorials with no name.
